Non pensate a quanto Soru ha fatto in questi anni, dalle borse di studio per gli studenti alle iniziative per l’ambiente, e quanto ancora potrebbe fare per il bene dell’isola. Non togliete dal vostro cassetto quel cavolo di tessera elettorale, e non decidetevi a usarla. Non ne vale la pena, per la nostra isola, per i suoi abitanti, per l’ambiente, per la libertà.
Non tenetelo a mente: Meglio Soru.

What to do with pesto.

Most Americans don’t know this traditional recipe for pasta and pesto.

INGREDIENTS (2 persons)

200 g (7 oz) pasta (fettuccine is OK)

2 tablespoons of Italian pesto sauce

2 potatoes

a handful of string beans

Peel the potatoes, and cut them in small cubes.

Cut off the ends of the string beans, then cut the rest into halves.

Boil with both potatoes and string beans together with fettuccine, then drain well, saving only a spoonful of hot water that you will stir with pesto before adding it to pasta.

Toss it all and serve!
